Goal Fest On The Last Day Of The Premier League: Results

Daniel GoochAnalyst IMay 9, 2010

The last day of the season is meant to be tense and close. Instead, the last day of the 2009/10 season will be remembered for the number of goals.

It was set to be a tense day, as Chelsea were only 1 point ahead of Manchester United.

Chelsea scored their first within 6 minutes. The title chase was then over. With an 8 - 0 win over Wigan, Chelsea are the champions. United won 4- 0 against Stoke, but can only settle for second.

A total of 32 goals has shown that the Premier League is one of the best to watch.
