UFC 113 Results: Paul Daley Cut From UFC After 113 Cheap Shot

A lot of tension was built between Paul Daley and Josh Koscheck going into their bout at UFC 113 in Montreal.

Both men hate each other, and this was a very highly anticipated match up.

With that said, the fight tonight was as expected. Koscheck looked for take downs all night and got them.

Daley couldn't find a place for his favorite punch, the left hand, until after the final bell.

Josh Koscheck did what most fans expected, he took Paul Daley down, beat him up, and attempted numerous submissions. The only time Daley was on his feet was the brief 30 seconds at the start of each round.

Paul Daley was over-hyped going into this fight verse Koscheck. He hasn't had as much high level experience, unlike Koscheck.

Daley tried to stand and bang with Josh, but Koscheck stuck to his game plan. The best punch Paul "Semtex" Daley landed all night was a cheap shot.

The last 30 seconds of this fight was spent on the ground, Koscheck on top, and Daley on bottom talking all kinds of trash. Along with trash talking there were eye gouges.

When the final bell rang, and both men stood to there feet, Daley ran his mouth some more at Josh Koscheck, then hit him with a clean left hand to the right eye of Josh.

Dan Miragliotta quickly jumped on Daley, as Koscheck laughed it off in his corner, waiting for the dust to settle.

Josh Koscheck was declared the winner by Unanimous Decision.

Breaking this all down, Daley was frustrated that he couldn't get his way, so he acted stupidly and sucker punched Koscheck.

Later at the Post-Fight Press Conference when the subject was brought up, Dana White claimed that Paul Daley was, "Never fighting in the UFC again".

White went on to say that he doesn't care if Daley turns out to be the best Pound-for-Pound fighter in the world, hes not fighting in the UFC ever again.

It's a shame to see Paul Daley go out like this, he has all the talent in the world but blew his chance at being a force in the biggest MMA company in the world.
