All Mauricio "Shogun " Rua has heard since his last loss to Lyoto Machida is that to become the UFC champion , next time you will have to take the judges out of the picture, along with Machida, man, did he deliver on that one.

Saturday night in Montreal, Rua delivered a devastating shot to the back of Machida's ear and that old swarming, end the fight instinct kicked in and now Lyoto Machida look's every bit as beatable as anyone else in MMA, ACTUALLY HE HAS LOOKED THAT WAY FOR SOMETIME NOW!

Mauricio Rua is now where he rightfully belongs, among the elite, where he once was and nobody will ever be able to take that away from the former written off PRIDE has been, turned UFC great in all of two fights.

Nobody can take away the hell this man has went through, coming into the cage, losing to Forrest Griffin and gassing while doing it, tearing his knees out only to have them rebuilt and to continue making progress in "inches" in his next fights.

Good enough though to come into title contention and do what nobody thought was possible, beat Lyoto Machida, only the judges saw it different that night, well tonight they were just spectators like you or me and they were helpless.

Could we possibly see Shogun\Machida 3? I think Machida deserves it but will he want it right away, really, "I would think two ass beatings in a row are enough for now"!
