The Miami Dolphins roster is looking as good as it has in a very long time. In fact, there are so many talented players with the team right now, it was difficult to narrow it down to 53 names.
When the coaches go through these motions for real throughout the preseason, it will be immeasurably more challenging. Unlike in the past couple years where the bottom half of the roster continually churned as the Trifecta sought out upgrades at practically every position, the Dolphins are looking like a very deep team at almost every position.
To get you more familiar with some of the new players and analyze where everyone fits into the 2010 plans, now is as good a time as any to do a full projection and breakdown of the potential opening day roster.
We'll look at each position separately and determine what the depth chart should look like in a few months as well as a closer look at some of the key battles this offseason.
With so much talent and so few spots available, this is going to be one of the most competitive summers in recent Dolphins' history. It should be a lot of fun for all of us in spectator mode.
