The NFL is about as realistic as MTV's "The Real World." Everything in this Fantasy league is pretty much scripted. With the NFL desperately trying to bog down the price of its sla, I mean players, JaMarcus Russell becomes the greatest Martyr for thrifty ownership wanting to cut spending. The idea that a payer whom has generated at LEAST 100 million in his playing career can be "overpaid" in a billion dollar industry is preposterous.
JaMarcus Russell was labeled every stereotypical title one could imagine all while being subject to terrible coaching, organization and a desperately biased media.
I guess you could call JaMarcus Russell a 61 million dollar scapegoat. Expensive. The Raiders sucked before he got there and they will probably suck into the next century, or until the NFL lifts it's sanctions.
Either way the Raider soap opera continues, and JaMarcus Russell is laughing all the way to the bank. Bling!
