Three's Company: The MLB's Best All-Around Outfield Trios
The 2010 baseball season has been a fiesta thus far for these outfielders.
As of Cinco de Mayo, the statistics of these amigos speak for themselves.
When they aren’t pushing their teammates across the dish, they are spending their time on the lawn fielding flies and throwing out hopeful base runners.
3. Detroit Tigers
On April 22, Carlos Guillen was placed on the disabled list with a hamstring injury. Guillen’s injury has forced Magglio Ordonez to play more.
Brennan Boesch has seen some more playing time lately. When Guillen returns, Boesch may be the odd man out.
Austin Jackson is April’s American League Rookie of the Month. His recent performances have helped the Tigers maintain second place in the AL Central.
The acquisition of Johnny Damon during the off-season has paid off already. Damon started out slow but has found his swing, despite battling through a calf injury.

2. Chicago Cubs
Alfonso Soriano has hit five home runs in the last four games. Soriano’s hitting is forcing Lou Piniella to second guess his outfield rotation which includes Tyler Colvin.
Colvin is hitting pretty well himself with a .289 AVG. It’s obvious that he should be sitting until the hot streaks of Byrd, Fukudome, and Soriano get cold.
28/88, 16 R, 7 HR, 16 XBH, 18 RBI, 8 BB, 1 SB, .318 AVG

1. Los Angeles Dodgers
The struggling Los Angeles Dodgers have an 11-16 record, but it’s not because of their players outside of the clay.
Manny Ramirez is set for a return from the disabled list due to a calf injury. His statistics were impressive prior to the injury.
The Dodgers will welcome back his bat but will likely continue to lose with their current pitching woes.
A busted up ankle didn’t have Andre' Ethier on the pine long as he went two-for-three with three RBI and a home run. Ethier has been on a tear and has one of the most impressive statistics of any outfielder.
17/41, 7 R, 2 HR, 6 XBH, 12 RBI, 9 BB, .415 AVG
34/93, 23 R, 9 HR, 13 XBH, 26 RBI, 10 BB, .366 AVG
33/112, 25 R, 7 HR, 14 XBH, 20 RBI, 11 BB, 3 SB, .295 AVG
