Report: Bobby Carpenter To Rams and Alex Barron To Cowboys

While the trade is not yet official, it's looking like the St. Louis Rams are close to finishing a deal with the Dallas Cowboys to bring in linebacker Bobby Carpenter.
In return, Dallas will receive offensive tackle Alex Barron.
Rumors of a deal sending Barron off have been around for a while now, and many thought he would be traded on draft day. However, St. Louis never got the picks they were looking for and opted to keep him.
Both former first round picks, the third year Carpenter, and fourth year Barron were both odd men out this off-season.
Carpenter, coming off his best statistical year, had 46 tackles and two sacks, and should be contending for a starting spot this upcoming season as a Ram if the trade goes through.
For more on this trade stay current through out the day.
UPDATE: The deal is said to be complete Monday after each player takes a physical.
