The Cincinnati Bengals are prepared to sign troubled cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones according to several reports. NFL Network was told by Jones' representative, Ray Savage, that a multi-year deal was in place and a signing was imminent.

Jones has repeatedly been in hot water with the NFL. He was suspended the entire 2007 season and was suspended another six games in the 2008 season.

With this presumed signing, Cincinnati has added another troubled football player to their roster, as they have a history of doing.

Cincinnati has been noticeably more careful in signing troubled players ever since 10 players were arrested over a 14-month span.

But Adam Jones has had too many chances and this time he deserved to not have yet another chance.

So we will see if Pacman finally stops getting out of trouble or if this is yet another failed second-chance experiment.
