Bellator XVII Weigh-In Results: Roger Huerta, Eddie Alvarez Make Weight

Ken FossAnalyst IMay 6, 2010

On the eve of the event I've christened "The Wang Wars," because I'm a morally objectionable person, all 16 fighters walked to the scales at Boston's Wang Theatre. Among them lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez, and current favorite to unseat him Roger Huerta.

The official results of the weigh-in are as follows:

Preliminary Bouts

Chuck O'Neil (171.6) vs. Damian Vitale (169.4)
Dan Bonnell (145.8) vs. Josh Laberge (145.4)
John Doyle (188.4) vs. Greg Rebello (187.2)
Lance Everson (187) vs. Justin Torrey (182.8)

TV Card Bouts:

Pat Bennett (243.2) vs. Cole Konrad (266)
Toby Imada (154.8) vs. Carey Vanier (154.6)
Pat Curran (155.4) vs. Roger Huerta (155.6)
Eddie Alvarez (159.6) vs. Josh Neer (161)

Bellator 17 will be broadcast nationwide Thursday on FOX Sports Net and during special Bellator highlight shows this Saturday night on NBC, Telemundo and mun2.
