ProBowl guard Jahari Evans, the Saints restricted free agent agreed to a seven years 57 million dollar contract to remain with the team. NFL Network's Jason La Canfora broke the news today. Jahari Evans is the highest paid guard in the NFL . He hasn't missed a game since being drafted by the Saints in 2006, GM Mickey Loomis and head coach Sean Payton's first draft together.

The only remaining players who hasn't signed yet from the Super Bowl teams are:

 1. RB Pierre Thomas

 2. LT Jamal Brown

 3. SS Roman Harper

Monday, FS Darren Sharper signed with the Saints. Tuesday the Saints claimed RB P.J. Hill off of waivers from the Washington Redskins. Hill will possibly battle Lynell Hamilton for the #3 running back spot. P.J. Hill is already familiar the offense, being that he was in training camp in 2009 with the Saints and was the leading rusher in preseason.
