The new storyline for Ted Dibiase Jr. is an intriguing one. After the long awaited split of Legacy, Dibiase has emerged with a push in sight and his eyes on what every rich man dreams of...
A black man who can be his slave.
Calm down, just kidding...
I'm talking about A VIRGIL.
Dibiase approached R-Truth two weeks ago on RAW with an offer to become his associate. R-Truth made it quite clear that he would be be accepting Dibiase's offer at that time...but who knows? Maybe a heel turn is in the works for Ron Killings.
Although the heel turn is unlikely, if WWE really wants to replicate the way's of The Million Dollar Man by giving his son an associate to do his dirty work, there is only one man I can think of to do the job.
Why not? I bet he'd be cheap and I'm pretty sure it would be a nice bonus to his math teacher salary. Unless he saved up those heavy paychecks Eric Bischoff gave him in WCW, chances are Virgil could take a nice summer vacation from school with some WWE funds in his pocket.
This could not only help a former superstar out who once had a high-profile match at Wrestlemania, but it could also show the new generation of fans exactly who Virgil is.
Imagine if Ted Dibiase Sr. came out on RAW and presented his son with a birthday present and it was Virgil? The nostalgia of it would be tremendous.
This is a storyline that can go on for months and if it culminates with the return of Virgil, even if it is for one night only, I would definitely mark out.
Two bonus points to anyone who knows why he was named Virgil and who he was named after...
Don't use WIKIPEDIA.
