Is David Ortiz making a return to the Boston Red Sox? He hit a homerun in a minor league game for the Pawtucket Pawsox tonight.

Ortiz was on the disabled list because of a wrist injury. This was his first action since May 31.

Ortiz will continue his rehab in Pawtucket until at least the end of the weekend. He is expected to be back in the Red Sox lineup on July 25, when the team plays a weekend series vs. the New York Yankees in Boston.

The Pawsox scored seven runs in the fourth to have a 15-0 lead. They would go on to beat the Toledo Mudhens 15-6 in Pawtucket.
