You have to give Sharper some credit

When a National Football League player hits the free agent market it is usually goodbye to their previous team as to players it is all about the money.

However, for safety Darren Sharper that isn’t the case and he should be applauded for it.

Sharper resigned with the New Orleans Saints and in the process turned down a contract from the Jacksonville Jaguars for more money.

What it says that Sharper is more interested in winning and at this point the Saints still have the better shot as they are still better than the Jaguars even though they made some pretty big changes this offseason

That is the problem with the NFL today as players are more interested in getting paid than establishing a legacy.  What players fail to see is that when you establish a legacy more money and opportunities open up.

In the end, Sharper can overcome his microfracture knee surgery to return to his previous playing level,
