I'll pass on Parcells

The Miami Dolphins hired Bill Parcells to oversee their football department in December of 2007.

After two and a half years it is clear that I sure the heck wouldn’t want him running my football team.

The  Dolphins have quickly become a mess of a football team that treats people like crap.

First it was former outside linebacker Jason Taylor, second was wide receiver Dez Bryant on a predraft visit, and now it is guard Justin Smiley.

According to Ethan Skolnick of  the South Florida Sun-Sentinnel, via ProFootballTalk.com, the Dolphins still are holding on to Smiley even though everyone knows that the Dolphins will get rid of him sooner or later.

According to the report, players feel that Smiley is being held hostage and Skolnick feels that it is so that the New York Jets would then immediately sign him.

Great teams don’t care what other teams do, which includes division opponents.

In the end, the only thing the Dolphins are doing is hurting their chances to sign unrestricted free agents.
