At this time I would like to acknowledge to any readers I may be blessed to have, I AM a lifelong Gator fan and loved the Tebow pick up. I waited a LONG time to move on from the Spurrier shadow cast by his national title. Along comes Urban Myer and Tim Tebow. When my favorite NFL franchise was on the clock at #25 for a second selection I sat back on the couch and my mind began racing when I saw Tim Tebow smiling on the phone as our pick was being turned in.

Understandably, not everyone likes this pick or how high it was. But can the kid take a snap or play a full year FIRST!?!?!? Everyone has these terrible things to say about SEC QB's EVERY YEAR. I can remember a few great ones from the SEC though, Peyton Manning the former Volunteer perhaps??? Eli Manning? Oh how could I forget about every-ones beloved Jay Cutler? If I'm not mistaken those Alabama QB's are damn good too. My favorite QB of all time was Joe Namath! Now that's a name haters bounced off of like corner trying to tackle Earl Campbell. It's true humans hate what they don't comprehend. People hate Tim because he seems too good to be true one guy even told me he thinks Tim Tebow might be gay because no straight guy is that perfect. I repied "I guess you know from experience right??"  Tim Tebow's will and desire is EVERYTHING you want in a football player period and QB is a leadership role right??? Of course it is so listen up..........

When you think of Tim Tebow yes you can question his mechanics, but what QB can't you do that with? Every draft pick has questions and points of emphasis as far as technique or attitude. No draft pick is a guaranteed star in this league. The last thing people question about Tim Tebow is physical ability and work ethic. If I'm not mistaken I thought those were the #1 and 2 intangibles to scouts? Now with that said I wont lie Tebow's throwing motion was atrocious as a gator but as a bronco with a coach who has coached  a hall of fame QB in Tom Brady that will CERTAINLY change.

For three years I watched Tim Tebow make amazing plays and lead his team to heights no one else thought they could reach. This talk people also have as far as Tebow being able to compete at an NFL is garbage too! People it's the SEC Tim competed against guys named Eric Berry (who may be one of the top safeties in the NFL) Dan Williams (Cardinals first rounder this year), Rolando McClain, Javier Arenas, Matt Stafford, Knowshon Moreno, Robert Ayers, and several others. But other than Arenas those are all first rounders. In his final game as a Gator Tim Tebow torched Cincinnati, 31-35 482 yards 3 TD's no picks. Yeah you can argue it's Cincinnati but Sam Bradford doesn't get knocked for torching Baylor now does he??? NO.

Honestly I feel that Tim Tebow is the most superior athlete in Denver that plans to be called a QB. He has way more pure Athletic ability than anyone listed as a QB on Denver's roster. Obviously the kid can take a lick see the hit he took against UK this year and he still held the ball may I add.... AND HE WAS UNCONSCIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! Even with a sloppy throwing motion he still has great zip on his passes and no corner in their right mind is gonna take him up high. Tim Tebow reminds me of Steve Young. Now I know they shouldn't even be in he same sentence yet but just as far as intangibles. Both lefties, both told they may or may not pan out because they are athletically gifted.

I have heard he many hateful thoughts and opinions from around the nation about the man we Gator fans call "Super Man". I can understand how some people may get the wrong idea as fa as his personality with the whole " Gee Golly wizz" persona he gives off. Tim Tebow is the kinda guy that would have the respect to NOT take your girlfriend even though she may throw herself at him everyday! Beging for a date or swooning over his physique. People are mad because he's the kind of guy that if a woman approached him he might blush before being something he is not or acting out. Sorry arm chair QB's Tim cant help it if your wife comments about his looks while you're sitting right there. He's a blessed guy and he acknowledges that, and people hate this why??? JEALOUSY? ENVY? Dont be mad at the kid doing right be mad at idiots like Plaxico Burress or Big Ben. Why people hate the good guy  I don't know and frankly I don't care and neither does coach McDaniels. As bronco fans we know that surprise and unexpected is Josh McDaniels Middle name. How much of the nation expected 6-0 last year???? Yes he got rid of alot of our talent but apparently it was not translating to what we needed most............wins. How do you have a new coach new scheme and a completely clean slate and fade out of the playoff picture in literally the EXACT manner that got a H.O.F. coach we thought would be the NFL's Joe Paterno fired??? The answer is simple ladies and gents PERSONNEL. The ME-ME attitude in Denver(Brandon Marshall and Jay Cutler) is dead and gone. And at this time I would love to give coach McDaniels kudos for being classy in the midst of their childish behavior. And did anyone else notice that he not only traded the disgruntled players but gave them the opportunity to become hometown heroes for their hometowns??? Cutler is from Santa Claus Ind., and now plays or his childhood favorite Chicago Bears and Marshall is from Orlando and no is a Miami Dolphin and Tony Scheffler is from Michigan and is now  a Detroit Lion ( good luck with that ha-ha) . Welcome to the League Tim Tebow as a Gator and a Bronco I welcome you to Denver. Just do us all  favor and shake the haters off. But just remember if you DON'T have haters, then that's when you're doing something wrong.
