Who did and who didn't; The NFL drafts good and bad choices
This article will be about my opinion on this years draft. Let me tell you some teams made some really dumb moves. I really hate to watch the NFL draft because it is SO SO long. This year I really didn't wnt to watch it, but since Colt McCoy, Tim Tebow and other big names like Suh Bradford Berry And Clausen I thought what the heck why not just waych until McCoy gets drafted. so if you see this article and you have time read it
Bradford going first overall
In the first round, first overall pick the st louis rams selected sam bradford.Obviously every one thought this was a great pick for the rams, but I don't. First off this guy just had shoulder surgery last year and missed the whole season. How do you know that hes going to do as well as he did before the surgery.
Sure he did pretty well in the workouts, but he didn't have a fat linemen coming at him, and remember this is the NFL hell probably struggle and he could loose confidence.
So right now all the rams can hope for is that hell have at least a decent year.
Suh to the lions
Right after Sam Bradford went to the rams, the Detroit Lions selected Ndamukong Suh.
This was a great deal for them I think because Suh should have gone before bradford. I think its also good for them since they already have a Quarterback like straford and they needed somebody to spark the defense.
This guy is fast for a defensive linemen, and lets not forget he was the first defensive candidate for the heisman in a long time.
So I think he will help the lions a lot not only this year but in the long future too.
Berry is a pretty good decision
In the fourth overall pick the cheifs selected safetey out of Tennesee.
I wasn't really sure if this was a good or bad deal for the cheifs, but after hearing about him he is definately going to be an upgrade.
I like how he plays whatever position the coaches ask of him, but when the saftey spot opened up for tennesee he took it and didn't give it back.
I also think he was one of the reasons they got a chance to play against V tech in the Chick-fil-a bowl.
Spiller will help buffalo a lot
The buffalo bills with their tenth overall pick selected CJ Spiller runningback out of Clemson.
I honestly thought that he would win the heisman last year. Well they said this was a building year for buffalo and if it was this is definately a good foundation to build off of.
This kid is extremely fast. He can run through the tackles or outside. Wherever you want him. Thats the main reason I like him. I think he could be a chris johnson.
Tebow to Broncos in... FIRST ROUND?
In the first round there was one pick I really questioned right off the bat. Tim Tebow to the Broncos in the first round.
I really thought that they wouldn't be able to use him that much since he can't really pass the ball.
But he has really worked hard on his release, and it has really been helping him pass the ball a lot better. I also like his attitude and thats a main reason why he will be a long term player wherever he goes.
Clausen to Panthers; Not a good pick
We all know that Jimmy Clausen went to the carolina panthers in the second round, but I really don't like that pick.
First off a lot of people questioned why Tebow went before him. It is because Tebow is a better athlete and he is more mature with his decision making. The reason I don't like this pick is because of Colt McCoy. McCoy I think is a way better Quarterback than Clausen, but he still went a whole round after Clausen. In my opinion they should have flip-floped and had McCoy go to the panthers, and Clausen go to the Browns.
Browns get a bargain with McCoy
So McCoy went to the Cleveland Browns in the third round which is a bargain for them.
The thing is McCoy shouldn't have even gone this late so he shouldn't have been a choice. But he was there and they wisely went after him.
McCoy is a great passer and can run whenever he wants, so he should be able to help this team a whole lot now, and in the immidiate and long time Future. So with that I am done and thanks for reading.
