Boston Bruins Will Open at Home on Oct. 20 vs. Pittsburgh Penguins

The National Hockey League announced today that the Boston Bruins will open the home portion of their 2008-09 regular season schedule at the TD Banknorth Garden against Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and the reigning Eastern Conference champion Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday, Oct. 20.

The "wild card" opponents this year that the Bruins will play in home and home set will be Chicago, Minnesota, and St. Louis.

The Bruins will start the season on the road.  They play the Minnesota Wild in Minnesota on Oct. 11 in the Wild's home opener.

I guess we will see how go the B's will be right from the start.
