NEW YORK - APRIL 22: Russell Okung from the Oklahoma State Cowboys poses with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell (L) as they hold a Seattle Seahawks jersey after Okung was selected number 6 overall by the Seahawks in the first round during the 2010 NFL Draft at Radio City Music Hall on April 22, 2010 in New York City. WOW, WOW, WOW. I never been happier with the Hawks.

Well I have new faith in the Seattle Seahawks draft team finally. If anyone has read my articles you know i really wanted Dwyer but we did get Lendale so I'm happy still.

6th- Russell Okung LT- Comparison, well we all hope he can be the next Walter Jones but more of a mean and nasty player. Maybe not the pass protecter that Jones was because i see him as the greatest or top 5 greatest pass protecting LT but hopefully will be know as one of the best run blocking LTs ever (haha I hope). I loved this pick I wanted Okung or Berry and I was soooooo happy to see Washington take Trent Williams because then I knew we were gonna get Berry or Okung. hopefully Okung will be there for 12 years plus. Love this pick and now we are starting to rebuild our OL. Unger and Okung.

14th- Earl Thomas FS- Comparison- Hopefully a Bob Sanders type and yes the dreads do have something to do with it. Both are shorter players that are very fast. I feel Thomas more of a cover safety and Sanders is more of a at the line do it all safety. I haven't gotten the chance to see Thomas play much so idno how he comes up and hits but i heard he is really aggressive player tackle and with INTs. I want him to play a center field role like he did at Texas for the most part and that's what Pete Carroll did with his defense and Taylor Mays so thats what I'm gonna expect. Finally we have someone with some speed and athleticism in our defensive back field that can make plays.

60th- Golden Tate- Comparison- best case scenario is a Steve Smith from carolina. Short, 4.43 speed, extremely good ball skills in the air, and great run after the catch. Or maybe a shorter Hines Ward idno if he plays with the smash mouth intent Ward does but either would be wonderful for us. I don't know if he will be a outside or slot WR. I don't think it'll matter because either position he will excell at. He is for sure fast enough to play outside. Now hopefully we can movie Housh to his natural position of slot receiver and get use his strengths over the middle. Now that Nate Bur. is out Tate and forsett and Leon can all be big time return men.

111th- Walter Thurmond- In all honesty I do not know that much about the guys in the fourth round past so I'm not going to act like I do know a lot of things about them. We really need defensive back help at safety and corner so hopefully he will add depth and in the future we will have a starter.

127th- E.J. Wilson DE- He seems very stout and strong in the lower body. We need help up front and Wilson should be able to help us in run support.

133th- Kam Chancellor SS- Possibly be able to pair with Thomas. But we'll see kinda bad in coverage but can hit.

185th- Anthony McCoy TE- Great potential and can you him with carlson in some two TE sets. supposed to be a better blocker then catcher. You never know he could take Carlson spots after awhile even though i like carlson more.

Ok I know we had two more players but I have no clue if they are good or have much potential. I know we have a smaller DE that can pass rush.

Leon Washington- We need play makers and he is one. He is kind of like Forsett but proven to make big plays. He's fast can catch can return and run draws and sweeps. I love this pick up we need more team speed. The NFL is about speed and finally we are starting to bring it in. Pair him with White and Forsett and we should have a good running game.

Lendale White- Big, can pound the ball wants to be a 1st and 2nd down back. He'll bring attitude to our team that we desperately need. He's going to run hard and run over people. We are used to Shaun Alexander so get ready from someone that will hit a linebacker or even a corner... haha. I really liked Jonathon Dwyer in the 6th round but we got McCoy instead so I'm happy but I really wanted Dwyer but Lendale will have to be the 1st and 2nd down back and Forsett and Washington will be the scat backs. We could actually have some speed on the field with Forsett, Washington, Tate all play making speed.

I love our draft. We got our speed and RBs. Then to top it all off we got the best LT in the draft our the safest one. Then we also got Earl Thomas that could be one of those safeties like Ed Reed, Troy, Sanders, Shaun Taylor RIP, Etc.

I have no found faith in the Seattle Seahawks now drafting. Next year or free agencies we need to beef up our DE and OL and corner and we will be a contender again. Love Carroll good job. Oh and Scheinder did awesome as well.

Comment and let me know what you wanted to do different or if you loved it.

Thanks guys and GOOOOO Hawks.

Thomas is gonna out play Taylor Mays all season sorry 49er fans :( go cry
