The Aarons 312 was washed out Saturday, till Sunday following the wild Aarons 499 at Talladega Superspeedway. Well it got even wilder as Brad Keselowski took the race win in a green white checker finish that seen a huge crash out of turn 4. Dennis Setzer got collected and went up into the catchfence ripping the car to pieces and bursting into flames. Setzer would be fine but alot of the front runners get collected in the crash. Keselowski gets help from Joey Logano to go past Kevin Harvick who was leading at the white flag and lost the Nationwide race. Harvick lead the first quarter of the race until lap 21 when Ricky Stenhouse Jr got into Carl Edwards causing a huge crash in the tri-oval. Edwards collected Mike Wallace, James Buescher, Steve Wallace, Jason Leffler, Brendan Gaughn, Clint Bowyer, Patrick Sheltra, Colin Braun and Michael Annet. Some of these drivers would only have minimal damage and be contenders at the end.
Several lead changes in this race as was the Cup race it became a wild dash at the end When a accident with only a few laps to go, when the 16 car of Ricky Stenhouse and Steve Arpin made contact going into ture 1 out of the tri-oval collecting several cars including Morgan Sheperd and Kyle Busch who was the points leader coming into dega. This setup a green white checker finish as they come around to take the white flag Harvick leads with McMurray behind opposite of the Cup race oddly enough. Bowyer would get into McMurray setting off a huge turn 4 crash that seen several cars involved and Dennis Setzer in the #92 go airborne into the fence and the car engulf into flames in a scary crash. Setzer was fine, the car not so much and neither were other drivers such as McMurray involved, Justin Allgaier, Trevor Bayne, Scott Wimmer and Kenny Wallace just a few of those drivers involved. Coming out of turn 4 Brad Keselowski would take the victory after getting a push from Joey Logano passed Harvick. Keselowski scores a Nationwide win at Talladega, only a year after scoring a Cup win at the same track. Keselowski has a 60 point lead over Kevin Harvick going into Richmond next Friday night. Great runs for the low funded teams of Jason Keller and John Borneman III finishing top 5 on Sunday. Hopefully they get enough sponsorship and can run full races and compete because as you can see from Sunday they can be contenders.
