Crowded Titan Receiver Corps Awaits Sewall

Hugh ShannonContributor IOctober 29, 2016

Brown's All-Ivy wide receiver Bobby Sewall will land in Nashville, TN with a long line of wideouts to compete with, including fellow rookies Damian Williams of USC and fellow FCS receiver Marc Mariani from Montana.

In addition to starters Nate Washington and Justin Gage, young veterans Kenny Britt (last year's leading receiver) and Lavelle Hawkins stand in the way of playing time, as well as untested Dominique Edison, Phillip Morris , and Paul Williams crowding the field.

He may find a more immediate chance to get on the field in the return game, to free up Britt for more regular duty on offense. Mark Jones and Alvin Pearman were the other main returners for the Titans.

Sweall joins David Howard, who was drafted in the seventh round by Tennessee. Good luck to you Bobby.
