One month after drumming up tremendous buzz for a possible WWE return or merchandising agreement, former World Hvt. champion Bill Goldberg says negotiations with WWE have stalled.
Goldberg's side of the story on the negotiations is that WWE has not met his terms. He says he won't continue to negotiate with WWE until they provide an offer more to his liking.
"What they've put forth right now is something that I will not accept. So is it something that I'm striving for? Absolutely not," Goldberg told Monsters & Critics on the media tour after being eliminated from the "Celebrity Apprentice" show.
Goldberg says he would still like to sign an agreement with WWE. He says the desire for his boy to be able to pick up a Goldberg action figure won't affect his business dealings, though.
"That is not going to cloud my business judgment by any stretch of the imagination," Goldberg said. "It's been a while since I've been involved in the business. And I know there are a number of manufacturers out there that would love to get their hands on Goldberg products. And I'm not like anybody else; I'm going to stand my ground and a deal will be done if it's to my liking and to my liking only."
