Scunthorpe United: The Iron's Memorable Moments
Hull City 0, Scunthorpe United 2
Third Division (Now known as Football League Two)
October 5th, 1996
Scunthorpe United, wearing claret and blue, travelled to Boothferry Park for the "Humberside Derby" with Hull City.
The game appeared to be heading to a goalless draw when Phil Clarkson, and Iron new boy Paul Baker, struck to snatch all three points in the closing moments.
The goals caused a number of Hull fans to spill onto the pitch the protest against unpopular chairman Martin Fish.
