Another TNA Wrestler Injured? What Will TNA Do With Out "The Pope"?

JC AugustineCorrespondent IJanuary 23, 2017

It has been reported that "The Pope" D'angelo Dinero has suffered ligament damage in his shoulder that was sustained during his match with A.J. Styles at the Lockdown PPV. This could also be a reason they moved the title to RVD, with the Pope injured there was no way to continue the feud between himself and A.J. Styles. Estimated recovery time is expected to be a month. The injury was milked a bit during the TNA episode on Monday but it is not kayfabe.

The one thought that comes to my mind after hearing about this is WTF? Why are all the TNA wrestlers getting injured.

Is it that they wrestle multiple matches for multiple episodes in one or two days?

Is it the faster, high octane and exciting style wrestling they do?

Or more likely it is a combination of all of the above.

Now you might say that Angelina Love got injure due to her arm getting tangled up in Tara's leg brace or that Daffney got injured from a botched move perform by Betsy Ruth during her TNA tryout match.

The problem with wrestling so many matches that are high octane in such a sort amount of time is the energy it takes. By the end of if it you wondering how much the wrestler has left in the tank. Heck, RVD wrestled three matches with in less than 24 hours this week and it is wonder he was still on his feet at the end of it.

When your tired you are more likely to make mistakes. This happens to everybody, but when your a wrestler and you make a mistake someone is going to get hurt, I'm just saying.

Where can I comment?
