As you all know, the WWE has announced today they have released six wrestlers. There must be a reason behind such massive cut-off in the roster. Most of them were used as jobbers so I wonder who will job now? The NXT roster? Who knows.
But the main point of this article is the rumored come back of Goldberg in WWE. Did they cut salaries by not renewing six contracts to hire the former two-time World Heavyweight Champion? I know these are just rumors, but I've read on the web that the negociations were pretty hard between him and the WWE. I am simply speculating, but that would make sense.
However, if it was announced, would it be a good thing? At the age of 43, he is not exactly a young talent. He was in his prime many years ago and he has nothing new to offer to the company; with Batista, Vladimir Kozlov, John Cena and Ezekiel Jackson on the roster, there are already enough powerhouse wrestlers.
What do you all think? Is there anything big behind all those releases or are they simply making place for new talents?
