Jack Swagger: A Flop Of a World Champion?

Members of the IWC are up in arms about the treatment of new World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger.  In many forums, people are already saying that his championship reign is a flop.

I just can't seem to understand why they would throw the towel in on Swagger's reign.

Swagger has lost multiple matches since becoming the World Heavyweight Champion to guys such as Randy Orton and The Undertaker.  These are perennial main event superstars that have amassed numerous world title reigns over their careers.

How can anyone logically believe that Jack Swagger could go from basically jobbing week in and week out on RAW to being able to defeat Randy Orton and The Undertaker with relative ease?

The WWE knows what they're doing here.  They do not want to cripple the intelligence of their fans by immediately making Swagger the new age Brock Lesnar (you can hear a very unique take on this at The Wrestling Roundtable) 

Prior to The Royal Rumble, for instance, Swagger was embroiled in an intense feud with none other than Santino Marella.  In case you forgot, you read that correct. 

Just two months before he shocked the wrestling world by winning and then cashing in the Money In The Bank briefcase on a prone Chris Jericho, Swagger was couldn't by a win on Monday Night Raw.

I truly do believe that Swagger is a transitional champion, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him somehow squeak out a win this coming Sunday Night at WWE "Extreme Rules."

I wouldn't call him a flop quite yet, but I also wouldnt pass judgment as quick as some members of the Internet Wrestling Community.
