All this article is for is to start opinions and here what Leaf fans have for ideas. This off-season I see Burke first of all shopping Kaberle, Grabovski, and Mitchell for sure. Anahiem is currently having trouble signing power forward, Bobby Ryan. Ryan was actually drafted by Burke right after none other than Sid the Kid. It would be very possible for a deal involving Kaberle for Ryan happening. Second Chicago is currently full of great skill and talent. With the likes of Toews, Kane, Keith all needing to be signed because that is their core there will be players becoming available. Cue Burke he can financially help Chicago big time while helping himself greatly. I see a trade involving Sharp and possibly Grabovski being the center of the deal with Toronto most likely taking dead weight salary in return as well to help Chicago get stronger as well and better financially. Mitchell could also be invloved in either one of those previous trades I suggested and likely will be seeing as he is very cheap and has unlocked talent. As for free agents Colby Armstrong gives the Leafs a big enhancment on the third line. There is also a slight possibility that the Leafs go out and sign Dan Hamhuis that is if they don't believe either Jesse Blacker or Keith Aulie can't handle that final spot, just a thought.
