NCAA Football '09: It's Here!

Matt ThielSenior Analyst IJuly 16, 2008

In case you've been in a cave—preferably a cave with an Xbox 360, PS3 or 2, or Wii—I'll let you know that NCAA '09 is here.  And yeah, I was a nerd and picked it up at midnight last night.  To my surprise, there was a line.

Not a surprise: the lack of any ladies in said line.  No Playboy Bunnies, not even Helga that works at the diner.  Not a lady in sight—and I imagine by the looks on some of the sausage in front of me in line that some of these guys have never seen a woman.  Jebus.

NCAA Football always marks the beginning of the season for me, along with the preview mags.  The game overall is very good.  I like the downloadable rosters, which I did in the first 30 seconds of owning the game.

A couple of bugs on the Mizzou roster (who knew Luke Lambert was a black guy?  Not even Mr. and Mrs. Lambert!), but it's a pretty sweet game.  I'd recommend it, if solely for the Mizzourah NCAA '09 Tourney on Sunday.  Pick it up, son!
