Ben Roethlisberger Suspended: Four-Six Games without Big Ben

Kevin HatfieldCorrespondent IApril 21, 2010

ESPN's Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter have reported that Steelers' quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will be suspended for four to six games.

It was originally thought that Roethlisberger would be suspended for two games, but it seems like Commissioner Roger Goodell is taking a bigger stance on violating the NFL personal conduct policy.

The suspension is also reported to have conditions that will allow Roethlisberger to shorten it based on good behavior.

The Steelers will start either newly acquired quarterback Byron Leftwich, Charlie Batch, or Dennis Dixon.
