Nebraska Signs First Defensive Player for the Class of 2011

The Nebraska Cornhuskers received their first defensive player for the class of 2011 when defensive tackle Kevin Williams gave an oral commitment on Monday.  He was one of the 77,000 on hand to watch the spring game in Lincoln on Saturday and was impressed by the turnout.  

Kevin hails from Ohio and was being recruited by the likes of Michigan, Michigan St. and Wisconsin.  This 6' 2", 275 lbs soon to be senior in high school dominated during his junior season, amassing 157 tackles and 15 sacks (according to Rivals), and is on the ESPN150 watch list.
