Is Daniel Murphy days as a Met numbered?

Murphy continues to recover from a knee injury suffered during spring training. Mike Jacobs was the first to go and maybe Murphy next. Fernando Tatis is a very good backup player and would help any team.

What will happen when Murphy come off the DL? By Promoting '08 first-rounder Ike Davis yesterday, the Mets have control of Ike Davis through 2016 instead of 2015. Seem like Davis is here to stay 2016 and into the the future.

This does not look good for Daniel Murphy this year or next. The Mets should trade Murphy and Tatis in a package deal to secure some pitching, starting or relief.

The time is now for Mets to make moves. It all about winning or Minaya or Manuel will dissappear this year.
