Toronto Maple Leafs: Four Kids To Crack The Roster For Next Season?
The Toronto Maple Leafs have been showing a lot of optimism and promise and hope for next season and the next few seasons after that. The reason that is is because of all of the young talent and prospects the Leafs have. However, I don't think all of them will make the roster next season. In-fact, most of them will probably see another year or two in the Juniors. Very few have a shot at making the team next season, these are the players that I think have the best shot at making the Toronto Maple Leafs team next season.

If Tomas Kaberle gets traded, Keith Aulie might be the extra defense-men that steps in and plays the permanent role, but again he might not. However, expect Keith Aulie to make a few appearances in a leaf uniform next season. Maybe more if he plays well.

Nazem Kadri is almost guaranteed a spot on the Leafs roster next season. He'll probably play on the third line or second line for the most part and expect to see him eat up a-lot of power-play ice time. Kadri is the best and most talented Leafs prospect right now.
Height: 6' 4"
Born: 30 Nov 1988 (Age 21)
Birthplace: Trencin, Slovakia
Juraj Mikus is also another name that could fill in a hole on the defensive end if Kaberle gets shipped out. His play is similar to Anton Volchenkov's and I think that he could fit in well with the Leafs next season if a few bodies go down with injury.
Height: 6' 1"
Born: 19 Apr 1991 (Age 19)
Birthplace: Toronto, ON, Canada
Jesse Blacker, yes, another defense-men. He was the Leafs second round choice in the 2009 draft & I think has a pretty good shot at cracking the Leafs line-up next season, but if not next season, the year after that for sure.
