It's going to get real exciting in the next week! The NFL draft takes place on Thursday night, and many fans fear the worse.  However, offensive line help is on the way for concerned and hopeful 49er fans. There are seven picks for the 49ers in seven rounds of the 2010 NFL draft to find one Right Tackle. Can they get it done?  Mike Singletary and Trent Baalke can build the champions he wants with this draft. Finding that guy to help get you over the hump is the key to every draft. Who is that guy?

Joe Haden, Anthony Davis, and several others names bring promise of being the guy that helps catapults this team back to the playoffs. The fact remains until this year’s class of potential prospects gets time with the pros, it's all speculation. It's hard to imagine a kid like Suh, or Eric Berry not making an immediate impact on the league. Yet crazier things have happened.

Some pundits think the answer to the mystery of success for the 49ers is Ted Ginn Jr., and we are all allowed opinions on this, but he reminds me of a Renaldo Nehemiah who understands the game. In my opinion he is nothing to be in awe of as a wide receiver, but if he can solve the KR/PR issue, than its all better for the team, the fans, and the organization.

Some of the free agents names still available: Travis Laboy, Flozell Adams, Terrell Owens, and several other names have migrated across the lips of those concerned, but none of them look to be potential hopefuls this far in the free agency process.

There are several trade speculations being bantered about to contemplate, but the biggest one for 49er fans would be the one concerning Jared Gaither and any of the draft picks of the 49ers. The Jared Gaither rumor at this point gives the 49er fans some faith that the organization is concerned with securing a front line for Alex Smith and Frank Gore.

The draft and free agency together can produce the desired results needed to bring another championship to the 49ers, but it will take skill, nerve and good luck By Mike Singletary and Trent Baalke to make it all come together correctly.

The goal this year is to make the playoffs and without an improvement in the offensive line that goal will be made all the harder. Again 6 picks and several free agents can bring back memories of 1981. It’s been 7 years since a playoff appearance or win. Hopefully good decisions by the organization make this the year.

Return to Champions!!!!
