Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, Former UFC Champ, Arrested
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson was arrested Tuesday following a traffic accident in Newport Beach California. TMZ.com reports that Jackson gave himself up after allegedly striking several vehicles and fleeing the scene. The site listed the charges as felony hit and run, and felony evading arrest, but those were not confirmed.
TMZ has photos of the former UFC Light-Heavyweight champion lying face down behind his truck as the police close in on him with guns drawn. The truck is a four-wheel drive Ford Turbo Diesel with the fighter's picture on the side.
Jackson held the title until July 5 when he lost to Forrest Griffin. He won the title by knocking out Chuck Liddell on May 26, 2007, and had one title defense against Dan Henderson on September 5, 2007.
