"Pat Burns Was Fit For A President"

It is so sad to see such a great person, as well as a fine coach and family man, to be taken away from us at such a young age.

I met "Pat" many years ago when he was involved in Junior Hockey in the Ottawa Valley Area.

He was a very shy person inside of that big body, but a very strict coach, who was always fair with his players.

I must say "Mike Ullmer ," our very fine Blog Writer, wrote a great "Tribute To Pat" well done "Mike".

If I remember correctly- "The Great One" (99) made the suggestion to "Pat Burns" when "Pat" was coaching "Junior Hockey": You (Pat) should be coaching in the N.H.L.

Not only did the "Sport Of Hockey" loose a "Great Coach" - "We Lost A great Man".

"May God Bless You Pat".
