Bleacher Report is live outside the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, for the Strikeforce: Nashville weigh-ins.
The weigh-ins are being held outside of the arena and the crowd is jacked up, especially since several of the promotion's fighters are taking time to sign autographs and take pictures.
Jake Shields (Strikeforce Middleweight Champion) 184 3/4 lbs. The champion came out to a nice ovation, but not nearly as loud as his challenger.
Dan Henderson 185 lbs. Henderson came out to the loudest ovation by far. He looked very relaxed and at ease, ready to fight.
Other televised bouts:
Gilbert Melendez (Strikeforce Lightweight Champion) 154 1/2 lbs. "El Nino" came out to a huge ovation from the crowd. The fighters posed together and the challenger looked at the ground most of the time. Is Aoki intimidated by the situation?
Shinya Aoki 154 1/2 lbs. Aoki looked very focused and unfazed by a few calls of him to "go home."
Gegard Mousasi (Strikeforce Light-heavyweight Champion) 204 1/2 lbs. The champion came out to a very nice ovation from the crowd gathered at the Bridgestone Plaza.
Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal 204 1/4 lbs. King Mo came out with his own personal flower and umbrella girl.
