New York Rangers' Season Starts October 4 in Prague

Greg CaggianoSenior Writer IJuly 15, 2008

With the Rangers' entire regular-season schedule to be announced on Thursday, a banner appeared on the Rangers team website advertising a trip to Prague, Czech Republic on October 4 and 5, the dates the Rangers will face the Tampa Bay Lightning.

It was made official that the two teams would face in the Czech Republic, with the league safely betting the Rangers would be a huge hit with Jagr and his Czechmates returning to the home land.

Somehow, I don't think Petr Prucha and Michal Rozsival are the two Czechs the NHL had in mind when they scheduled this event—but nevertheless, the two teams will be playing on those dates.

The times of the games have not yet been announced, and this is all the information I have.

Interested in taking the trip to Prague to see the Rangers play live? Well for $3000, it can become a reality.
