The United Football League is set to make a "major announcement" this thursday at Qwest Center Omaha.  The league heads will be in attendance as well as Omaha's mayor and some local business men.

This announcement can only mean the league will be adding an Omaha franchise in the coming years.  The team is rumored to play in the new TD Ameritrade baseball park, which will be the home of the College World Series starting in 2011.

The league has been looking to expand from its original four teams to six and was targeting markets without NFL teams.
