Why Steeler Fans Should Be Glad Holmes Is Gone

You, as a fan, have an opinion and are entitled to it. But that doesn't mean your opinion is right. The Steelers were not being racist. or bigoted. or stupid.

Please remember the Cowboys of the late 70s and 80s. Every one hated them. They were "America's Team" and didn't deserve to be. Bad managing and stupid players made them look like a team full of criminals. Granted, they were not, but that's what it looked like. It's bad business. Like the '07 Patriots (the Cheaters). They pulled a stupid move and their name was mocked because of it.

And it looks even worse for the team especially since Holmes is a repeat. And in light of Big Ben's mess. Just get rid of him. Like the Eagles and the Cowboys with T.O. He was a messy player, and made their team look bad. You should be glad the Pittsburgh Steelers are trying to clean up their public look.

Now they've got to keep their 2 time Super Bowl-winning QB. It'd be sacrilegious to get rid of their franchise QB just cause he has no self control.
