Hockey, NHL, Toronto Maple Leafs, Ryan Hollweg, Breaking News

On Monday, the Toronto Maple Leafs added a little more grit to their line up by adding veteran grinder Ryan Hollweg from the New York Rangers.

Considering how well the Penguins have been doing the last couple seasons, the Maple Leafs didn't give up much because it was the fifth round pick in 2009 that they got from the Pens in the trade that sent D-man Hal Gill to the Penguins that they gave up.

In 70 games with the Blue Shirts last year, Hollweg scored two goals and two assists. He also appeared in eight of the 10 NY Rangers' playoff games.

Hollweg is best known for being cross-checked in the face by now Russian Hockey player Chris Simon.
