ESPN's John Clayton has confirmed that the Pittsburgh Steelers have traded wide receiver Santonio Holmes to the New York Jets.

The former Super Bowl XLIII MVP was traded for the Jets' fifth round pick in this year's draft.

Holmes has been battling many off the field issues since arriving in Pittsburgh.

These include domestic violence, marijuana possession, and the recent allegation of attacking a woman in public.

Second year receiver Mike Wallace looks to become the new No. 2 in 2010, and this could completely change the Steelers' draft strategy.
