I don't normally write up stuff like this, but hey, it's fun and interesting hearing everyone else! I have no source or anything to say that anything would happen. This is pure thought in my opinion and just something to either consider or not consider. Would Jerry be tempted to pick up Chris Henry on a same type of contract as Adam Jones?
Today, the judge in his case rejected several motions by the prosecuting attorney forcing them to drop the final charge against him. LINK
On Monday, prosecutors dropped the assault charge after a judge ruled against them on several motions just before the retrial was to begin.
The Bengals cut Henry after his April arrest, his fifth since joining the team in 2005. Henry remains under suspension by the National Football League.
Personally, based on his character, I would say no. Can you imagine the trouble with him and Adam Jones on the same team. Whoo!! Calvin Hill will be a busy guy! But, maybe Jerry would pull the trigger. The joke was already out there, that the Cowboys should pick him up after he was arrested and then released by the Bengals. He is applying for reinstatement into the league. LINK
The Associated Press reports free-agent WR Chris Henry (Bengals) plans to apply for reinstatement by the NFL immediately after prosecutors dropped the last remaining charge against him Monday, July 14, according to his agent Perry Ancona. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said the league will review all factors at the appropriate time.
I would stay away from him and stick with what we have. But what do you think? Did the Bengals jump the gun by releasing him and not getting something for him? Or, at least keeping him for the Bengals?

I could definitely see Jerry signing him. He's a big, talented receiver who can help a team who dont' have much at that position besides two aging veterans and a future star in Crayton. Plus, Jerry and the Cowboys love the spotlight. Only they can lose a bunch of playoff games and still be considered "America's Team". I think he has done a great job taming T.O., and we have yet to see how the whole Pacman situation will go about.
