Syracuse Chiefs win third walk-off to start 2010

| Pete Orr is off to a hot start in Syracuse |
The Syracuse Chiefs earned their third walk-off win in as many days, 8-7 this afternoon over Lehigh Valley at Alliance Bank Stadium to improve to 3-0. Syracuse second baseman Pete Orr scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the 12th inning on a Devin Ivany single.
Orr also scored the final run in Friday's 5-4 walk-off win after hitting the game-winning single to end Thursday's game on opening day. The former IL All-Star (2004) now has six hits in his first 13 at bats and has made a strong case for Washington to call him up. The Nationals may do just that after third baseman Ryan Zimmerman left today's game against the Mets with a tight hamstring.
Syracuse will go for a four-game sweep of the IronPigs on Sunday. The first pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
