5 Scenerios for the Chiefs if they Trade out of the 5th Overall Pick
The NFL draft is about a week and a half away and talks are heating up about who the Kansas City Chiefs are going to select. I have read some very interesting stuff going around about possible moves the Chiefs could make if they trade out of the number five spot in this months draft. The Chiefs will either take the safe pick in Bryan Bulaga, the likely pick in Eric Berry, or they would trade out of the number five spot and here are some scenerios if they do.
No. 5 to Buffalo for the No. 9 pick and No. 41 pick
The Kansas City Chiefs would select Dan Williams with the ninth overall pick in the draft. This could be the Chiefs trading partner in the first round if Jimmy Clausen is on the board when the Chiefs are picking. The Bills need quarterback help and the Chiefs need defensive line help and Dan Williams fits the bill.
No. 5 to Philadelphia for No. 24 Pick, No. 37 Pick, and No. 70 Pick
The Kansas City Chiefs would select Sean Weatherspoon with the 24th overall pick in the draft. Sean Weatherspoon is a tremendous athlete with strength and speed to be an elite inside linebacker. With the Eagles really wanting Eric Berry it would be a tough decision for the Chiefs, but could happen.
No. 5 to Cleveland for No. 7 Pick, and No. 38 Pick
The Kansas City Chiefs would select Rolando McClain with the seventh overall pick in the draft. This is an interesting one The Chiefs could really get a deal if the Browns are willing to give up the number 38th overall pick. Like Buffalo the Browns are in serious need of a quarterback if Clausen is on the board when the Chiefs draft this could happen.
No. 5 to Seattle for No. 14 Pick, No. 60 Pick, and No. 102 Pick
The Kansas City Chiefs would select Earl Thomas with the 14th overall pick in the draft. With Seattle wanting to adress the quarterback and offensive tackle needs in the draft they could select a quarterbacka and an offensive takckle back to back with the number five and number 6 picks. The Chiefs Selecting Earl Thomas would change the defense he is on some draft boards the best defensive back ahead of Eric Berry in the draft.
No. 5 to San Francisco for No. 13 Pick, No. 49 Pick, and No. 59 Pick
The Kansas CIty Chiefs would select Trent Williams with the 13th overall pick in the draft. With San Francisco wanting a left tackle they could get their wish with the Chiefs. Trent Williams would provide either a left or right tackle and could compete with Branden Albert for the left tackle spot and who ever loses the competition gets moved to right tackle.
