Back in the Bronx?: Alex Rodriguez Wants to Renegotiate with Yanks

Andrew BlanchetteCorrespondent INovember 15, 2007

IconAlex Rodriguez announced on Wednesday that he would like to attempt to negotiate a second contract with the New York Yankees.

In September, Rodriguez's agent, Scott Boras, told the Steinbrenner family that he and his client would not accept any deal worth less than $350 million over 10 years.

But after the Yankees, Red Sox, and Angels all refused those terms, Rodriguez decided the best option for him and his family would be to readjust his asking price in order to be in pinstripes come April.

Here's the only catch:

The Yankees have made it clear that they won't deal with Boras, who has not been included in the conversations between the Yankees organization and Rodriguez.
