All right, Anaheim Ducks fans. Your crosscounty rivals, the Los Angeles Kings, eliminated you from thae playoffs and placed Randy Carlyle in the hot seat for good.

As a Ducks supporter for a half-decade, I feel your pain and commisserate in solidarity. But don't fret, I have come up with ten amazing ways to get over the pain that is the 2009-10 Anaheim Ducks season. And trust me: they work.

10. Ride a bike.

One of the best ways to get over the Ducks is to take advantage of the many bike routes in and around the city.

From a 5K route around Disneyland to a journey from the Amtrak Station to Solana Beach and Del Mar, the power of the bicycle must never be underestimated. Check out some routes here. http://www.bikely.com/listpaths/country/254/region/126/city/7072

9. Head to the beaches.

What better way than to take a trip down one of the best coastlines in Southern California, just watch and hear the waves. It's therapy the way nature intended. And of course, whether you are a veteran or a novice, it doesn't hurt one bit to catch a wave or two. Or three, or four.

Seal Beach, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, San Clemente, Dana Point, Laguna Beach...Orange County has a beach for you to ride the tides.

But beware, it may get addicting if you do it long enough.

8. Knott's Berry Farm.

How about spend a day with family and friends at Knott's? While it's perfect for the tourists, it's also a great place for the locals. Fly through the coasters, shake a leg with the Peanuts gang at Camp Snoopy, or sample some boysenberry jam. It's a winning combination!

7. Disneyland.

A no-brainer. Sure, the little omelettes may be in tears after the setback, but at the Happiest Place on Earth, there are no losers.

Everyone's a winner at Disneyland, Disney's California Adventure, and the shops at Downtown Disney. Get your mouse ears out! Those are the ears of a champion.

6. Go horseback riding.

Orange County is home to a number of parks that are suitable for riding those ponies. I recommend Deer Canyon and Brea's Carbon Canyon Regional Park for its trails.

Other suitable places to go horseback riding include Costa Mesa's Fairview City Park, Laguna Coast Wilderness Park in Laguna Beach, and Peters Canyon and Santiago Oaks in Orange.

5. Check out Titan and Anteater baseball.

Perhaps you may be a fan of the Cal State Fullerton Titans or UC Irvine Anteaters. As a matter of fact, you can head down to Cicerone Field at Anteater Ballpark to watch both sides clash this weekend for county braggin rights.

Currently both teams are tied for the top of the Big West Conference table, so don't miss out.

4. Get your heart racing at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.

Orange County residents must thank the International City for coming up with a splendid diversion for those who want to get away from the misery at Honda Center. A little IndyCar action featuring Dario Franchitti, Danica Patrick, Ryan Hunter-Reay and the rest, to go with a pageant.

An expo and other races-and even Formula Drift!-should do you good on April 16-18.

3. Catch some MLS action at the Home Depot Center.

Take a trip up the 405 to Carson and see Chivas USA or the Los Angeles Galaxy take field—or both—and see the best that Major League Soccer has to offer.

Whether it is cheering for the Goats or the G's, you can beat enjoying the pageantry and excitement going on at Victoria Street.

2. Go on a getaway to Catalina Island.

Catalina Island is a great place to spend your weekend after seeing your season end, Ducks fans. So why not give follow to the path of the seagulls and sail away to Avalon?

1. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

In a city like Anaheim, Mike Sciocia's Angels possess an uncanny ability to grind out division titles like hamburgers.

So what's the best way to get over the Ducks? Watch the Halos at the Angel's Stadium of Anaheim!

Remember: At the Big A, it's A-OK!
