Jose Reyes will be evaluated today following an extended spring training appearance in Port St. Lucie could be cleared to make his season debut on Saturday against the Nationals. "the physical conditioning part of it is going well," Manuel said. "He's getting enough at-bats." Reyes went 1-for-5 yesterday in a minor-league game. Until Reyes' return, veteran Alex Cora will split time at short with 20-year-old rookie Ruben Tejada.  The Mets should playing around bring Jose back and lets play ball. Reyes makes the offense more potent. Jose adds life and energy!
