Fresh off of my list for 10 feuds that i think would help "save" WWE, I thought about WWEs weaknesses and Tag teams came to mind. With teams like DX and Cryme Tyme splitting up these days it seems as though the Tag division is virtually non existent. That being said, I thought of some, shall we say Interesting teams that i feel would suit each others gimmicks and wreslting style and might help revive a dying division. Here we go.
Ok before I start I'd just like to say that I realize that Shad just got out of a Tag Team and his new motto is "My Tyme". Still, Could you imagine these two giants being on a team, both as Heels? I'd say the motto then would be "Domination Tyme". They would be able to take out virtually any tag team in WWE and make a serious run at the Unified Tag Titles. I believe that if Vince let "Big Zeke" wins the ECW championship on the last episode of ECW to give him "Momentum" going to Smackdown, he should be used alot more. With Shad's new heel turn it would certainly spice things up on Smackdown for sure
I have come to the realization that I am one of the only people who like Zack Ryder. I feel like he should at least be on the mid card section of Raw but with loads of big name talent on that show (Cena, HHH, Orton) he'll never get a shot anywhere. That being said why not team him up with a guy with a similar attitdue, great athleticism and no meaningful feud. Of course I'm talking about Mr. Ziggles himself Dolph Ziggler. Another talent that hasn't had a meaningful feud since his feud with Mysterio (Morrison feud was meh). These two would make a good Heel duo and with a little mic help would be able to cut great promos sure to tick off kids everywhere.
Both have high flying abilities and great charisma. Kids would eat this team up for sure and with both of them being great up and coming superstars they'd win any crowd over and have people demanding they have a shot at the Unified titles.
I talked about Kane joining SES in my other article because I believe it would bring him back to his Big Red Machine days. 90s Kane ruled and was arguably the most intimidating guy in WWF(E). Now he is jobbing to NXT rookies. I say make him Heel, put him with a good up and coming heel stable like SES. With Luke Gallows as his Tag partner and CM Punk to guide them this would not only turn Kane back into the Monster he once was but it would also give the Tag division some fierce competition and a solid tag team
With the Hardy Universe(that's right, they have their own universe) upset by the lack of usage from the only Hardy left on the WWE roster i think it's only right he have a legit shot at some tag titles. Who better to team him up with than Evan "Air" Bourne. I mean, their styles compliment each other very well given the fact that they are both high flyers although Hardy may not be in the shape he once was. This would also help Bourne get over with the fans and help him establish himself as a threat. It would make for fast pace high flying action thats non stop. We all saw what Bourne could do at Wrestlemania 26. Why not give him a chance to shine with the "Heart & Soul of Smackdown".
Bring them Back. Why break them up in the first place? I mean, Carlito has got some pretty good mic skills and Primo's moveset is awesome. Whats not to like about them? Turn Carlito face and you have two great wrestlers in the ring that would add humor(Carlito) and talent (Primo) to the WWEs tag divison. With them broken up, Primo has disappered and Carlito is either jobbing Raw or on NXT....jobbing.
I think everyone wants to see these two back together. I mean you have talent in the ring, humor outside of the ring and just two of the most popular WWE superstars on their roster. What more would you want from a tag team? While Edge is still in the hunt for the WHC, Christian is jobbing to Ted DiBiase which sucks in my opinion. What better way to give these two gold then to make them a team again? Have them feud with the current Unified Tag Champs, and maybe they will bring the importance of the belts back to them.
Some may agree and some disagree but Jerishow was the reason I watched Raw on Mondays. I mean, the relationship between the two seemed odd and yet very entertaining at the same time. WWEs formula to have Y2J keep trying to stay on Raw was great in my opinion and not to mention they were pretty dominant. Most would say keep Y2J in the WHC title hunt but with the WWE giving the young superstars time to shine now I think this would be a way to keep guys like Edge & Y2J the faces of their show still relevant and very much in title competition. I don't really like the whole MizSho thing so why not put the "Giant Destroyer" back with his old partner.
I realize that some guys on the list are being used for different angles. I believe that the WWE writers can use alot of the guys in the tag division that aren't really getting their fair chance to shine. I think I can speak for most people when I say we would like to see more Yoshi Tatsu and Evan Bourne. Instead of having them be jobbers i say put them in the one Division that needs the most.
