The rumor machine is bound to start again as Dino Gaudio has been fired as head coach at Wake Forest.  According to the Sun-Sentinel.com's blog writer, Shandel Richardson, one name surely to be mentioned is Frank Haith who has strong North Carolina ties and was a 4 year assistant coach at Wake from 97-01 helping to build that program into a national power. Interestingly, one factor that may have led to Gaudio's firing is the fact that the Haith led Miami Hurricanes beat Wake two out of three meetings this year including a win over the Deacons in ACC tourney play.  Haith's reputation for recruiting, especially in the Carolinas is likely to be something that could make him a strong candidate.
