Who are the likely people that to Chiefs will take overall at number five? The Kansas City Chiefs have so main holes, and not enough draft picks, story of our lives. Everyone wants to know what will Pioli do this year, try and find a guy to fit the scheme again? Is he going to reach again? Or is he going to grab the guy with the most talent? Even though he once said he isn't drafting for talent, he is drafting to make a football team, either way you ahve to have talent somewhere. We all know the Chiefs need it.
Here are some likely directions the Chiefs will go with Scott Pioli there.
Rams have recently realeased Marc Bulger, and i believe this means Bradford is the only way to go. So think Bradford isn't good enough sense the injury, but he will do fine, and be what the Rams need
Eric Berry is the man with some amazing talent. Will Pioli not pick him because he doesn't look for talent when he drafts, he looks to build a team? Well Berry can be a guy you can build a defense around! But the Chiefs already said they don't like take a safety that high? so is he our man? We will have to see
McCoy is agrueably the best defensive tackle in this draft depending who you ask. He could be our fix in the middle, and could stop the run and be our man to rush the passer. He could take lot of the Linebackers and if he is there at 5, why won't we take him?
McClain is the best ILB in this years draft. Sure it will be a reach but it hasn't stopped the Chiefs before. He can be that huge run stopper that we need. He is a coach on the field and that can help us when we have a player that not only knows his position but everyone elses to. Is there a bad thing about this kid?
Williams is the best NT in the draft. Nose Tackle is one of the most important poistions in a 3-4 defense, but can we pick up Cody or Jones in the 2nd round? So do we choose him? Pioli always thought that you build a defense from the inside- out. So he may be another reach, but he is a possiblity
Williams is the next best Offensive tackle. We need somebody to protect the back of Cassel. Cassel hit the ground a lot last year, so maybe this wouldn't be a bad choice to pick him up. But the 3rd or 4th best OT in the draft at #5 overall, either this is an elite group of OT, or people are desperate!
Who do you feel will be the guy the Chiefs choose? or if you think someone totally different?
Post a comment who you think the Chiefs will choose?
