Tiger Woods' new commercial for Nike involves his father, Earl. The commercial will start airing today, and continue to run throughout the Masters. I understand Nike's PR effort here, but it's just bizarre, and in a sense creepy.

Filmed at Isleworth Country Club a few weeks back Tiger stares directly into the camera listening to his fathers voice, "I want to find out what your thinking was; I want to find out what your feelings are.  Did you learn anything."

Earlier this week at a press conference Tiger said he understands why some marketers cut ties with him, "Of Course. I made a lot of mistakes in my life,  And I totally understand why they would do that," reports the Wall Street Journal.  Tiger then went on to say, "I am a worthy investment; that I can help their company, help their company grow and represent them well."

Only time will tell for Tiger Woods endorsement life, but this week is a start and so far a good start with regards to his practice rounds welcoming at Augusta.
